MAT MONSTERS

Fun! Fitness! Confidence! Abhaya's Mat Monsters program teaches more than just self-defense. Kids who train in martial arts learn self-respect and self-discipline while increasing their overall level of health and fitness.



We have three classes every Saturday for kids 4 to 13 years old.

The first class runs from 10-10:45 for ages 4-7 and relies on fun martial arts games that teach kids to follow instructions and maintain focus.

Kids aged 8-13 train from 11-11:50 for beginners and 12-12:50 for advanced (yellow belts and up). This class includes more in-depth technical instruction but there's still time for fun and games, too.



Mat Monster's membership dues are eligible for the Government of Nova Scotia's Healthy Living Tax Incentive. Details here.

Introductory membership (quick start): Uniform and six weeks of training for $75 (+ HST)
